Instead of having the user configure the the rip settings for media format, frame rate, bit rate for video and sound and the HD resolution ask simple questions like
"What media player do you use?" and offer the big ones "iTunes", "Windows Media Player", "Real Player", "VLC" ...
"On a scale of 1 to 5, how important is video quality?"
"On a scale of 1 to 5, how important is the size of the file created?"
"Which speaker arrangement do you have? 1-Stereo 2- 5.1 or 3- 7.1"
"Does your display support? -720p -1080p -Neither
Then configure the ripper appropriately, have the user confirm the configuration and start the ripper.
